goodbye spring semester, hello summer school. i handed in my last thing today, so i'm officially finished with the semester from hell! what a feeling of completion.
Jesus woos us to a place we normally wouldn't go, and somehow makes those places beautiful. He gives us courage to look at a world where suffering abounds, and to see with his eyes. this is a world where the most vulnerable are sold as sex toys, where children are forced to fight wars, and where the poorest go so hungary they die from it, and where hatred, violence, and despair reign alongside drug lords. suffering is so prevalent in the world we can only escape it's reality if we choose not to look. truley it is a choice for most of us. the point of Christ like suffering is that we do choose to look, and enter in.

Congrats Kristen. I still have to recite a poem tomorrow and write roughly 7.5 pages...but it's close.
Finally, you'll stop studying on campus all the time while I'm alone at home. Oh wait...
